Yes! You can shop with us online through our Bookshop.org storefront for books + eBooks, and Libro.fm for audiobooks.
You’ll get big bookstore convenience—but your money supports a woman- and Latina-owned indie bookstore in San Dimas. Win-win.

Starting Saturday, June 7th, Judging by the Cover Bookstore will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10AM to 7PM.

I’m a local author, artist, or vendor—can I collaborate with you?
Mostly new releases with some gently-used gems! We stock what this community loves — books you rave about, ask for, and can’t stop thinking about. We follow the best-seller lists, TikTok recs, and our owner's own TBR, but the heart of the shop is your stories and voices that deserve more space. Local authors, marginalized voices, and yes — we do sometimes pick a book just because the cover gave us chills.
What kinds of books do you carry?
We do! Trade in your gently used books for store credit—$1 for paperbacks, $2 for hardcovers. We resell them at a deep discount, and if they don’t find a new home, we donate them to local spots like library bookstores and the prison book program in Claremont. It’s a simple way to refresh your shelf and support the community!
